Red  Wines

Most South African red wine styles are rich, aromatic, and hearty. The Coastal Region (made up of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Swartland) has a hot climate, making it an ideal place for bold red wines. Whereas the Cape South Coast region (Overburg, Hermanus, Elgin and others) are ideal for great quality, cool climate wines such as Pinot Noir.
